On a European level there are two types of annual statutory events: the Agora and the European Boards Meeting (EBM). The Agora takes place every six months and the EBM is organised once a year.

During the Agora suggestions to improve the European network are discussed, elections are held for the board of AEGEE-Europe and various committees and participants take part in various workshops. Besides these activities, there is an extensive social programme in place, which focuses on the exchange of cultures. The Spring Agora is planned to take place in Enschede from May 1 through 6, 2012. Approx. 800 participants from all over Europe will come to Enschede to take part in this wonderful event. More information on the Spring Agora 2012 can be found at www.agoraenschede.org.

The European Boards Meeting is the time of the year that all of AEGEE’s activities are brought in line with AEGEE-Europe’s Strategic Plan. During many discussions and workshops the participants debate with each other after which the Activity Plan for the upcoming year is drawn up.
